Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia Oct 19, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - This fall, Sable Shortbread Bakery has added a fresh pop of colour to Downtown Windsor transforming its storefront at 138 Gerrish Street with a vibrant new coat of its signature pink pantone coupled with crisp white trim.

The update marks the next phase of the bakerys ongoing transformation a renewal that celebrates resilience, community, and the enduring joy that has defined Sable Shortbread for over a decade. The family-run business relocated to Windsor last year after five successful years in Kentville, and the newly painted exterior symbolizes both a fresh start and the creative energy driving what comes next.

Adding to the sense of community pride, the work was completed by a local painter who grew up in Windsor and was delighted to help brighten up the towns main street.  Our colour represents joy, says Duncan Pike of Sable Shortbread. This paint isnt just about looks its about what we stand for: family, craftsmanship, and community. We live here in Windsor, and were proud to be part of its ongoing renewal.
